Unemployment hits 9.4 percent. President Obama flies to France.

Joblessness reaches 9.7 percent. Obama jets off to Denmark.

The rate of those out of work soars to 10.2 percent. Obama packs his bags for Japan, Singapore, China and South Korea.

Faced with the worst domestic economy in decades, the president has responded — by setting a record for foreign travel. An Asian swing that began Thursday will bring his total this year to 20 countries in eight trips, according to CBS News’s Mark Knoller, official statistician of the White House press corps.

That easily bests the previous record-holder, George H.W. Bush, who hit 14 countries in his first year. By the time he returns next week, Obama will have spent more than 12 percent of his presidency overseas — and he still has another trip or two in the works for this year.

As he prepared to leave the White House on Thursday morning, Obama first stopped to address the cameras in the Diplomatic Reception Room. “Before departing for Asia this morning, I’d like to make a brief statement about the economy,” he said, assuring Americans that he’ll “be meeting with leaders abroad to discuss a strategy for growth” and to make sure “Asian and Pacific markets are open to our exports.”

Nineteen minutes later, Marine One and the peripatetic president were airborne again.

Four hours after that, Obama was safely over Canada when his Treasury Department announced another record monthly budget deficit.

Saturation police patrol on Highway 62 Thursday

Be careful, tax revenues are way down and the police are doing their job in raising money for the government. This Thursday along Hwy 62 they’re going to pull your ass over and write you a ticket if you break the law. They’re concerned with people not moving over when a cop is busy collecting money for the government from some other asshole that broke the law.

This is a joint effort between the Jackson County Sheriffs department along with the police from Medford and the speed trap experts Eagle Point Police Department.

Remember the law requires drivers to slow down and change lanes, if possible, to allow more room for a stopped emergency vehicle. I’ll quote the law they’re planning on enforcing.

ORS 811.147

A person operating a motor vehicle commits the offense of failure to maintain a safe distance from and emergency vehicle or ambulance if the person approaches an emergency vehicle or ambulance that is stopped and is displaying required warning lights and the person:

(a) On a highway having two or more lanes for traffic in a single direction, fail to:

(A) Make a lane change to a lane not adjacent to that of the emergency vehicle or ambulance;or

(B) Reduce the speed of the motor vehicle, if making a lane change is unsafe.

(b) On a two directional, two lane highway, fails to reduce the speed of the motor vehicle.

In January, the law expands to include highway workers and tow truck drivers.

I do slow down myself and switch lanes if I’m able to whenever I see the red lights over by the side of the road. It’s a very good law and one that needs to be obeyed. It’s probably a good idea to do this saturation enforcement BUT if for one second anyone thinks this is about education then you’re just a fucking idiot. It’s about money, your money, soon to be their money.

If they pulled you over and made you do a timeout while you listened to them chastise you for your offense then it’s about education, when they write you a ticket, and they will, it’s about taxing your slacker ass.

I’m certain if you made it this far you think I’ve recently been written up for something. I have not had a ticket in more than 20 years because I’m very careful where I drive or ride like an asshole.

I just hate giving the government any money and I wonder how many cops signed up for the job not realizing that they’d end up being nothing more than a tax collector.

Will I drive down 62 tomorrow? Not on your life. Another reason it’s tough to tag me, avoid the obvious 🙂

Where Was YOUR President born?

While I’ve little interest in getting in the middle of the Obama birth
issue, Paul Hollrah over at UTFSM did so yesterday and believes the issue can be resolved by Obama answering one simple question:

What passport did he use when he was shuttling between New York ,
Jakarta ,and Karachi?

So how did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981,
without the price of a hotel room in his pocket, suddenly come up with
the price of a round-the-world trip just a month later?

And once he was on a plane, shuttling between New York , Jakarta ,
and Karachi , what passport was he offering when he passed through
Customs and Immigration?

The American people not only deserve to have answers to these questions, they must have answers. It makes the debate over Obama’s citizenship a rather short and simple one

Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?
A : Yes, by his own admission..

Q: What passport did he travel under?
A: There are only three possibilities?
1) He traveled with a U.S. Passport,
2) He traveled with a British passport, or
3) He traveled with an Indonesia passport.

Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S. Passport in 1981?
A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department’s
“no travel” list in 1981.
Conclusion:

When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a
British passport or an Indonesian passport..

If he were traveling with a British passport that would provide proof
he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims.
And if he were traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend
to prove he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British
or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in
1967.

Whatever the truth of the matter, the American people need to know
how he managed to become a “natural born” American citizen between
1981 and 2008..

Given the destructive nature of his plans for America, as illustrated by
his speech before Congress and the disastrous spending plan he has
presented to Congress, the sooner we learn the truth of all this, the
better.

If you Don’t care if Your President is not a natural born Citizen and in
Violation of the Constitution, then Delete this and go into your cocoon.
If you do care then Forward this!

You Are Ignorant Idiots

So the democraps managed to pass a house bill that can’t be paid for and has no chance to actually improve health care but instead screw it up and you’re happy. When The Obama took over the government owned 19% of the economy. Before health care the government owns over 30% of our economy thanks to The Obama and now it will be close to 48% if the senate passes it. You dumbfucks have turned us into a socialist nation. The Obama has surrounded himself with terrorists, communists, felons and worse and you’re happy.

Shame on you, shame on you.

Unemployment is over 10% (actually 17.6% if you count those who’ve given up looking) and we’ll tax small business even more to pay for this Trojan horse. Now the White House says it’s going to grow to well over 11% by next summer. Yaaay for the stimulus.

Dumbfucks.

Cuts to Medicare are over $500 billion which means higher Medicare premiums for seniors, deep cuts to home health agencies, hospitals and even unthinkable new taxes on items like pacemakers, artificial hips and stints. Although it is hard to believe, Section 501 of H.R. 3962 would result in a $250,000 fine and five years in prison for being uninsured. For all these reasons and the tremendous debt this bill shackles future generations with.

But at least we’ll give socialism a try.

My thought is that we will return to conservative values in a decade or two once the social welfare state collapses. Eventually what our founding fathers feared will become clear in everyones mind. They didn’t trust huge government and we won’t either. It will be too late. We’ll regress for a very long time, longer than our children will be alive but eventually we’ll get back to our roots.

I’ll be dead by then and so will you.

A Geocaching Attempt

I’ve been watching two of my grandkids this week. They’re 4 year old twins and very very very active. Today after I couldn’t wear them out at the park I thought I might go back to geocaching and get them involved with a search. Well it was a thought.

I stopped caching in the spring and at the time I figured it was because I was riding my motorcycle in the nice weather and doing other things so it made sense to take a break. I’m not so sure that’s why I quit. That was a part but not the primary reason. The primary reason I stopped was because it wasn’t as much fun as it used to be. The fun is pretty much gone for me now.

When I started geocaching it was about hiding and finding little boxes filled with treasures and a logbook. The idea was to hide it well but not so well it couldn’t be found. The objective was FINDING the cache, not looking and looking and looking.

So locally a couple of cachers have started hiding very difficult to find caches. Quite often these hard to find caches also include really shitty gps coordinates and even more often they offer a crappy make no sense clue or none at all. That’s what pretty much got me off track as far as my enjoyment of this hobby.

So the twins and I are looking for a cache hidden not far from our home. It’s hidden by someone who doesn’t always get good coordinates but doesn’t try to make them invisible. What would be the point out in the woods right? Anyway the trees blocked the sattelites so I went to the clue which read

DONT”S GET STAMP .ON IT.

Excuse me? Maybe it means “don’t get stumped on it” but who really knows right? Anyway if it’s in a stump there are lots of stumps to chose from After the twins tore into the 10th or 15th stump they were ready to leave and of course so was I. There were 3 other caches close enough to throw a net over, maybe. I didn’t bother. We’ll see how we feel about this another day but I have a feeling it’ll be awhile before that day shows up.

Tea Party Express

So many of you have attended Tea Parties or town hall meetings and expressed yourself to your local elected officials. We are in the middle of a battle to save America and I urge you to continue to fight the good fight. Contrary to the mainstream media this isn’t an organized fight but instead it is a genuine grassroots effort with average angry Americans driving it.

While watching the tube I came across the website called Tea Party Express and discovered that a Tea Party Bus is going to be landing in Medford Oregon on October 29th (thursday) at 4pm and will be stopping at Alba Park which is located at 301 West Main Street. The War On Fox News…Obama a coward?

It has been said that you never want to wage war on someone that buys ink by the barrel. What could be even more stupid is to wage war on someone that doesn’t need ink. Who has more followers than any other news network. A network that has exposed ACORN for what it really is, who has gotten rid of one Czar that Obama appointed AND who has been running the heck out of a clip on even another Obama appointee that claims one the biggest mass murderers of all time is her hero and that would be Mao. No Mao isn’t the appointee but if he lived near Chicago and was still alive I’m sure he would be.

But he’s using Anita Dunn as the white house communications director to declare war on Fox. She’s a temporary appointee so if her attack falls short they won’t have to claim she got sacked, she was temporary. So she attacks Fox and then Fox runs clips of her saying how much she admired Mao. Priceless and you can’t buy crap like that.

So the primary attacker has exposed herself as another socialist/communist. How much of this stupidity will stick to The Obama? Well some of you dumbasses will never admit to having voted for a socialist OR some of you dumbasses will start thinking socialism isn’t so bad.

You I won’t argue with because you’re just stupid and you can’t argue with stupid. Stupid bring you to their level and once there stupid will win on experience.

So for you dumbasses please go back to the genuine Obama Network known as MSNBC. You know, where they couldn’t bring themselves to run any genuine news.

Voting Off Hot Babes

Lovely young lady isn’t she? Ashley Trainer is a joy to look at and appeared to be a nice person when I watched her on Survivor Samoa. I don’t get to watch her any longer because dumbass shits voted her off the Island last night. Granted she was not able to swallow something disgusting, which of course excludes her from being a perfect babe, but please sister, she’s still hot.

Ashley is not the first hot babe to get the axe. Do you recall a lovely named Sarah Jones? Sarah was on Survivor several seasons ago and sported a lovely rack, most likely courtesy of someone who doesn’t get to enjoy them any longer, unless they want to google her name as she did appear in Playboy.

Hot babes make Survivor the success it is. Sure it’s fun to watch teams compete in some interesting physical challenges but hot babes with blurred out parts make it much more fun. Do they blur out those parts in the DVD’s they put out after the season is over? I need to find out. Investigations are fun.

There is value to watching dirty hot babes wandering around homeless on TV. One value is that you don’t have to smell them.

Last weekend was the Brittney Ride here in the Rogue Valley. My wife and I thought about going to it but when we got ready to leave at 9am it was still just 29 on the back porch and as far as I’m concerned that isn’t even close to being motorcycle weather. Instead we goofed off for awhile and then about noon when it warmed up we jumped on the bike and met up with some friends at the finish line. They appeared thawed out but I suspect that they’re done for the season with motorcycles. I guess I’ll be an afternoon rider for awhile longer.

We’re probably going to attend a geocaching event called Come On Up To Butte Falls as it’s being held in our back yard. Maybe this will get us back into geocaching this fall but I’m not so certain. The new trend of putting out “nearly impossible to find” caches has worn me out. It’s just a couple of users who like to hide that crap but they hide a lot of them so they do spoil an area. If they dare to hide some up here in the Butte Falls area I promise I’ll plunder the shit out of them. This area has been filled with caches that are designed to be found and I don’t need flatlanders screwing it up. My backyard, my rules 🙂
